In 2020, Covid19 and the lockdown unfortunately put a sudden halt to Jenny's artistic activity, and her American projects.
It was then that her dad decided to sit down at the piano at night, whilst the rest of the family were sleeping, to compose a series of songs. The initial idea was to try to put himself in Jenny's shoes, to express through music what his daughter would have wanted to say through her songs.
The complicit relationship between father and daughter meant that as soon as Jenny heard the music, she immediately joined the project, so much in the songs reflected what deep down inside, she would have liked to say.
From there on, working remotely with Charly Degut, a producer from Lyon, began the production of the 8 songs. Thanks to technology and modern means of communication, a ping-pong of nocturnal emails followed to find and agree on the right production, song after song.
The final recording took place at the Hacienda de Lyon in September 2020. A peaceful and magical place which was strangely reminiscent of where the group Queen had recorded the album "Bohemian Rhapsody".
