My way
JENNY AND ME
Passionate about singing and music from an early age, Jenny Di Pollina, her real name, is a young female who lives on the shore of Lake Geneva in the small village of Saint-Prex.
The second of 4 children, she is very attached to her Italian roots and her family who have always been supportive in her artistic journey.
Jenny is an artist with a strong character, who knows what she wants, but especially what she does not want!
Her artistic influences are varied and more oriented towards pop music. During her stage performances, she loves to revisit the great classics of music: ABBA, QUEEN, ADELE, WHITNEY HOUSTON, ELTON JOHN, BILLIE EILISH, AURORA and even DISNEY, anything that is good to express emotion and make the audience happy.
Jenny has been singing since she was young, but it was during a competition in her school in 2014 which she brilliantly won, that her music teacher pointed out the young singer’s potential to her parents.
After a few years of singing lessons, she took part in the "Swiss Kids Voice Tour" in 2018 and was one of the competition’s 8 finalists from 1,000 participants.
Fate did not want her to win the competition, but instead to meet artistic Piero Vallero, the competition’s musical director who has worked with great artists (Phil Collins, Jermaine Jackson, Eros Ramazzotti, I Pooh, Ivana Spagna, Solomon Burke, Alejandro Sainz, etc.)
They got on well with each other and Jenny soon began regular trips to Turin, where Piero Vallero lives, to work on various musical projects, including an EP of re-arranged covers which will be released in early 2023.
A competitor at heart, Jenny regularly participates in singing competitions, finishing often on the podium. Lyon, Cannes or more recently Paris, no destination is too far to make a dream come true.
That is why in 2019 she flew to Los Angeles to participate in the Vocalstar, a competition for which she was selected in Geneva.
During the 3-day workshop where she sung in front of the Los Angeles record industry, she signed a collaboration with Damon Sharpe, famous author/composer and Grammy Award winner who has notably worked with J-Lo on "Love don't cost a thing”.
Unfortunately, we all know what happened with Covid19 and this song will finally see the light of day in 2023.
Jenny is lucky to have a close-knit family that she can count on, but above all, she has a very strong artistic relationship with her dad. A musician at heart, he guides and accompanies her in this unique world of music. The dadager, as Jenny likes to call him, organises from behind the scenes the rehearsals, competitions, concerts, trips…
Jenny has had the chance to perform in different countries: Switzerland, France, Italy, San Marino and the United States are part of her artistic career. You can find what she has to offer on social networks.
